Running Panasonic Home Theatre Unit through Onkyo A/V Receiver?? Help

Hi There

Recently bought an Onkyo tx-nr515 A/V receiver, for the purpose of adding an audio zone to the house.
What i want to know is it possible to run a Panasonic Home theatre unit (sa-btt-370) - pretty much just to run as a Blu-Ray and DVD player, through the Onkyo Amp and then connect to the tv.

The back of the panasonic unit has an HDMI Out port, but I have only been able to get the visual side working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

go through the setup menu carefully and look for some type of setting regarding embedding audio on the HDMI output. If there isn't a way to reinsert the audio track back onto HDMI, you are out of luck. Searched online for a manual, but didn't have any luck.

Set the HDMI Audio output to on, still no luck. any ideas?

wow, thought that would have done it. Next step is call Panasonic and see if it is even possible. Be prepared to wait on hold for quite a while, and probably end up with somebody reading off a script, but you might get lucky.
It isn't encouraging that the manual doesn't make a single reference to connecting the unit to an external surround processor/ AV Receiver......you may be out of luck.
Plan B: move it to another room and buy a Blu Ray player.
