It does. Not sure where in the menu you go. Try just inserting a 3d movie and seeing what it says. I believe wheni did that I was directed to the setup.

It must be connected to a 3D display, then go to the XMB and run the Video Settings. The PS3 will recognize the 3D display, and set up from there.

You should not need to have a 3D BluRay or game disc in the PS3 to get it to recognize that it is connected to a 3D TV; once you're on the video settings screen the PS3 should auto-detect the TV's 3D capability and ask you if you want to configure. Is the PS3 connected to the Epson via a high speed HDMI cable?

It won't work right off the bat.
Go to display settings on your PS3, Set automatically and your PS3 will detect in your set is 3D enable and it will ask you to set the size of your screen and then you'll be able to watch or play 3d content.

re run the audio/video setup -- if you have a receiver in the path, ensure it supports 3-d as well --- otherwise direct connect to the projector and connect your audio using tos-link.

do an auto detect and the ps3 should detect your projector 3d mode.
