Epson 5020ub owners: You may be experiencing signal loss if your hdmi cable is longer than 20ft

For those of you that are having handshake or signal/3d problems, how long are your hdmi cables? If it's past 20ft, you may be experiencing signal loss. I spoke to an Epson rep when I was researching the projector and they stated that they only tested the 5020ub with an hdmi, no longer than 20ft and that any longer length may cause issues. I suggest you picking up an HDMI with remere from monoprice. The cable has a chip in it that boast the signal up to 60ft with no signal loss. I posed this in another thread. I have a 30 ft cable and was having issues with my PC (would go blank and sometimes never come back).
I searched the net and found the solution. Figured I'd share. Take a look at my original post:

Long cable runs with HDMI are a problem in general. That's why there are no passive cable rated for HDMI high speed.

Interesting product...but unless I'm mistaken you need a Doctor HDMI unit for every source in your HT. At $100 each that would run about ~$400-$500 for the average setup. Seems to me you'd be better off changing the HDMI cable (assuming that's possible.) But for those of us with fixed through wall cable installations the Doctor HDMI is a viable, albeit more costly alternative.

Another, MUCH cheaper solution, is use HDMI to CAT5E baluns. Less than $20 and they're good for 98 feet.

That interesting, but now why is it with epson PJ. I was posting also in the same thread as Nambit. The reason I say PJ only as I did mentioned before my set up is:
1 Htpc which feeds 1 TV in the BR - HDMI 20-25ft don't remember coretly
1 TV in LR (were my HTPC is) only 6 ft
1 DVI to HDMI PJ clone as rest 25

2nd card Hdmi to PJ for 3D bluray also 25 or 30ft

I never have problem with TV in BR and is the give/ take same length as PJ?
I do understand problems with 3D signal but as I was writing there are also problems just simply with normal signal.
But I think I would try this doctor HDMI.
