Audio from Toshiba Laptop to Marantz receiver ???

Is there any way to get audio out from my Toshiba Laptop, to play out my Marantz SR5002 receiver ?? I have tried HDMI, but all I can get is video. Is there any way I could use the 3.5 mm headphone out jacks on the Toshiba laptop to connect to the Marantz receiver? If so, would the sound that it produces be analog or digital ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

More than likely the Toshiba is setup to only pass video via the HDMI output, so unless you can find settings to the contrary, you may have to resort in using the headphone out jack (3.5mm to RCA cable).
