Hope someone can help me...

I just hooked up my RX-A2010 and so far so good. But.... I am unable to get sound from my sub??? I've had an old school Yamaha for years that I just replaced with this and the sub was plug and play on it. But on this 2010, I've tried both sub inputs with no luck.
Yes. I went into on screen menu and enabled sub. wink.gif
Your help is greatly appreciated... smile.gif

Also... The volume in general doesn't seen to have as much "punch" as my prior RX-V1600 even though this NW Aventage has more power! What gives???

I'm just learning my way around one of these bad boys currently. Just picked up as a closeout at Best Buy at a ridiculous price. As far as levels and switching the subwoofer on, check the on screen menus, go to setup - speaker setup - manual setup - levels. In there you can switch the subwoofer on and turn up the levels on the individual speakers, outside the automated set up. Once you do, you can get some pretty good bark out of this unit. .
