Official LG 50LS4000 Owners Thread

Bought this set at Best Buy last Saturday for $649.99.

It's a Full-Array LED (Direct LED), no Smart.

Funny thing is that there is not support page for this model on LG's website.

As of now, the TV has been great.

You can actually set the Tru-Motion level (low, user or High) which is nice.

Played some COD BO2 on it (PS3) and it looked amazing.

Blu-Rays looked great too.

Now I need to get a HD cable box from my provider and I'll be all set.

Anyways, are there any other owners around here?

Hi, I'm from mexico and i'm planning to buy this tv, but there's no review reliable and available on the web.

Can you help me? Pros, Cons??

PQ is excellent.

I mainly use it for PS3 gaming/Netflix and cable.

I will be able to add more when I finally get a HD cable box.

For the time being, all HD content I've tried (Blu-rays, games, Netflix) has looked great.

For $659, I can't really complain.

I JUST GOT THIS TV YESTERDAY AT COSTCO MEXICO (ENSENADA BAJA CALIFORNIA) HOOKED UP MY DTV HD BOX AND WAS AMAZED AT THE 1080 PICTURE QUALITY.... NOT DONE PLAYING WITH IT, WILL REPORT LATER WITH ANY NEWS ..

WISHED I WOULD HAVE PAID WHAT YOU PAID, HERE IN MEX , I PAID 11,500 PESOS AT 12.45 PER 1 DOLLAR($900 DOLLARS APROX) WITH THE 3 YEAR EXTENDED WARANTY WICH INCLUDES TECNICAL SERVICE AT HOME IF THE TV FAILS .. STILL MUCH MORE THAN THE STATES BUT DID NOT HAVE TO DRIVE 200 PLUS MILES , STAY IN BORDER 3 TO 4 HOURS , AND GOING TO THE STATES MEANS MORE SHOPPING AND MORE $$$ SPENT .... IF GOING WITH THE WIFE ... LOL.................. I GUESS I GOT A GOOD DEAL ..
