Are low-end bargain LED TVs VA or IPS panel?

I've been look at a lot of bargain 32 inch TVs that go under $300 some for even only $200 like Westinghouse, lower ends JVC, o r lower end Visio. Are these panels the VA or IPS? Some of them are backlit LED and the picture quality is pretty nice.

In the case of the Vizios, their website and product specs usually list 178 degree or 176 degree viewing angles. I think most if not all of their recent 178 degree panels were IPS. Regardless, if Vizio admits its 176 degree viewing angle (like the newer E-Series), its not an IPS.

At least they're admitting it up front. With Samsung, you never can tell what panel type it is unless you go looking at different part numbers to find the exact xVA panel you got. It won't be an IPS in any case...
