Hello,
I recently picked up an Onkyo 818 receiver and am using it in a 7.1 configuration, which I plan on upgrading to 9.2 My question is which surround sound speakers should be the best set of speakers if you had to choose. I will probably do front height and surround, and surround back for a total of 6 surround speakers. Four of these speakers will be Klipsch Quintett III and I will probably pickup some Paradigm Atom ver. 7.
I was thinking that they would best be utilized as surround, because the would see the majority of the work (5.1), but maybe the front high could benefit from speakers with a lower frequency range, but the front height is supposed to be ambient sound, right?
