First trailer..... Hopefully this will kick some serious ass wink.gif ...This franchise might be one of the silliest out there, but I like it and it's spectacular. The last one was really cool and apparently Michelle Rodriguez's character has something coming (I can't really stand her so I'm fine with that! tongue.gif )

I wouldn't call myself an F&F "fan" but the movies are a nice diversion on broadcast tv every once in a while. Having said that, I actually enjoyed the last one more than any of the others and am actually very curious about FF6. I know, I've been duped numerous times by trailers before and we very well may have seen the best that the movie has to offer already but I'm still curious. I'm still not going to watch it at the theater (not on my own dime anyway) so I'll look forward to renting it or catching a broadcast. But I'm still finding myself actually wanting this to beat the "franchise odds" and be a quality movie.

No matter how 'bad' or cheesy these movies can be, if it has cars/hot women and action, I am game!biggrin.gif

I despise the 1st 3 or 4. Can't even begin to say how much I loathe the ones directed by Rob Cohen. It was so high school-ish and stupid.

Because of my open mind I gave Fast 5 a chance and had a great time with. The addition of "The Rock" and Justin Lin's great action sequences took away most the cheese. As long as they keep on this track I'm there.

1st with the Rock and now with a gorgeous HAWT new comer like Carano added to this series it's really becoming something very cool and not so 1 dimensional.

I am 100% on board...as long as there is no ridiculously STUPID CGI like there was in #2. I'm good for improbable/impossible stunts...but please please please...use REAL cars like the first and last film did!

I keep reading here and there that this one is gonna be, once again, pre-Tokyo Drift... How exactly is it supposed to take place before the events of Tokyo Drift? The more I look at this franchise, the more this Tokyo Drift flick looks like Never Say Never Again... Somehow part of the Fast & Furious universe but at the same time not really...
TOKYO DRIFT takes place immediately after FAST 6 and before FAST 7.
Tokyo drift happens after Part 3, before part 6, and at the same time as part 7. Except for the very end which happens during part 8 and 9. Also the flashback takes place during part 4. Hell, Tokyo drift happened in an alternate universe.

LOL! According to reports, Tokyo Drift occurs betwen 6 and 7 and it will be explained at the very end of Fast 6, either after the credits or just before the credits roll, or during the middle of the credits. Wait, what?

I am growing tired of post credit surprises. Enough already. Just show us the scene. Considering what is rumored to take place in this special post credits scene, they'd be NUTS not to place it so that all audience members can actually see it. It will cause them to go crazy with anticipation.

Vin Diesel just announced at CinemaCon that Universal Pictures has set a July 11, 2014 release date for Fast & Furious 7. Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers.

This will be interesting, James Wan in the chair. So does this mean there will be some torture scenes, a car being sawed.

These movies show just how desperate some people are for entertainment.

?

Granted the first ones were kinda weak, but the franchise improved greatly over the years and has now become an above average action thrill ride. Yes, it's mostly entertainment but what's wrong with that? When I want to challenge my IQ I look elsewhere, but there's a time for everything.

That's right Morph, you nailed it. Can't please all the "Mr Roper's" in this world. I hated, no triple hated the 1st one through Tokyo drift.
But thanks largely due my effervescent open mind attitude towards life I felt that Fast 5 didn't look like the previous junk so I gave it whirl and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't be closed minded, picky and grumpy all the time or you'll miss out on all the heavenly glory. Wait, did I just quote Bruce Lee?
