guys, please give me an advice.

guys, i already have denon 1612 receiver. i am looking for 5.1 floor speakers set up. i get accross on this set, is this a good set for my receiver? and anybody knows if this is a good set of speakers? http://www.amazon.com/Jamo-426-HCS-WENGE-5-Piece/dp/B003GGXGU6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
any reccomendations? my only budget is like $300-400 for floor standing 5.1 set up.

I think in that price range, the Jamo set is about as good as you will get...as long as you are aware that it is 5.0, not 5.1!

oh yes, sorry, i mean its only 5.0 i will buy a sub for that. but is that speakers are main entry speakers for my denon 1612 receiver? or should i buy 3.0 set up? any reccomendation any speakers sir?

thats a tight budget. i was going to recommend the jamo, but you beat me to it, and pair it with an BIC f12 for 180 more bux. that would be it for that price range. What i went with at a slightly higher budget was the BIC FH-6t towers (120 each), FH6-LCR center (100), and DV-62si (100 pair) for all 4 of my surround channels. Thats 560 w/o a sub, still recommend the f12; i already had 3 subs. sounds amazing. i had all polks before.

Buy here, use make best offer, and negotiate the price mentioned above.

+1 fwiw,imo the boston acoustic a360's$360 and the a250 $200 are a great bargin. as for surrounds take a look at the pioneer sp-bs22 on amazon $90

I own the Jamo setup and it's decent but excellent for the price. The Bostons are probably a bit better if you can live with white. If not, I'd go with the Jamos. You could get them and the highly recommended sub (wait for it to go on sale for $300 shipped) below for around your budget.

guys thank you for the advices i really appreciated, i know that is the only budget i can afford at this time,and for that budget i cant choose the best speakers on that tight budget. i will look for these speakers and maybe wait to get on sale. smile.gif
