This is my multipurpose theater room from behind my seating area. Most of my ambient light comes from head on due to windows on the far wall opposite the projector. I can turn on banks of overhead lights individually including 2 that are behind the screen. These are usually the lights I use when watching TV or other things so as to have a clear path from the projector to the screen. As you can see the window on the left lets in some light, this is the case with the windows directly across from the projector.
In this pic is the brightest this room will ever be while watching.
I was originally going to pursue the Firehawk G3, but now having seen there are so many others out there I'd like some advice. I'm looking for a 16:9 fixed screen around 115-120". The current is 118"
My budget is somewhat flexible but Im around the $3000 range on the screen.
Probably going to look at:
Stewart Firehawk G3
SI Black Diamond
DNP Supernova
Any help is appreciated
