Hi there,
I am totally new to this topic and I might seem a bit silly, if so please be patient
My gf bought me a Panasonic HC-V100 camcorder few days ago and I am quite happy with that all in all.
So far I have found only one "issue", which is when I play the videos back on my macbook pro / xbmc with LG LCD 3d tv ( PAL devices ).
Problem is that when I watch my videos I see a lot of horizontal lines which I think it is caused by interlacing. I documented myself a bit and found that this is quite normal ( source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlacing#Problems_caused_by_interlacing , and this is what 's happening to me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Interlaced_video_frame_%28car_wheel%29.jpg )
Althought it seems a normal behaviour, it does make the viewing experience a bit crappy to be honest.
I noticed that playing these videos directly fom the camcorder and using the tv as output I cannot see this problem, and this is thanks to the camcorder itself I guess.
Is there an option in software/something to do so that once you have your video ready on the sd card you can start watching without the need of doing some work on it ?
What do you guys deal with this ? Any suggestion ?
Thanks in advance
