HDMI is what you should be using.

One cable of hdmi is used for display + sound (including dts and 5.1 speakers sound system)?

Yes. And 7.1 lossless if everything you have in place supports it, too.

Wow great... no more digital rca/fiber optic cables for audio...
Do i have to check anything on my source or it is enough that it has hdmi output that it will work?

You still need to configure your player and receiver for optimal audio performance and select the best source when more than one is available.
