I think I recall from other posts Blasst uses Sony Vegas Pro.

Haha! I grew up in western WA and can imagine the sentiment of your friend after viewing that "greeting card" around this time of year. Very neat idea -- hadn't thought of slapping together a small project like that and using it as a greeting card. Maybe this year instead of Christmas cards, we'll send out video cards!

For the slo-mo parts I use Sony Vegas Pro 10, since I need that to use the Twixtor plugin, and then use Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 to put it all together.
