TV Calibration for animation

Video displays should be calibrated to video industry standards for video programs sourced from video delivery services and video storage media. Animation programs are no exception.

Nobody makes "unique" content that requires a different calibration.

There are just 4 standards for TV (plus a couple of variations on these 3)... NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV. If you have an HDTV and you send it one of the other formats, the TV or some other device in the chain will convert the "old" signal to an HDTV signal. So for consumer video content, you really only have to worry about having the HDTV format accurate.

If your question was prompted by the fact that your TV or some TV you have seen had a Mode named "Animation" or "Anime"... that's just a stupid marketing-driven feature with no usefulness other than to allow the product's list of features to be longer. In fact, many of the settings and "features" in TVs are stupid and do nothing other than to make the TV less accurate in a wide variety of ways. TV manufacturers aren't much in the business of making accurate video displays... they are more concerned with selling their boxes. And humans seem to think that the longer the list of "things" a product has, the better the product is... we had a dishwasher in our last house that probably had 100 different combinations of cycle settings by the time you selected the mode, the water temperature, the drying mode, how dirty the dishes were (pot-scrubber, extra wash, normal, spot remover, etc.). We might have used 3 combinations in 6 years, but I'm guessing it was jut 2 combinations.
