New Subwoofer or Replace all speakers

My current system consists of:

L/R - Sunfire CRS-3
C - Sunfire CRS-3C
Rear L/R - Sunfire CRM-2BIP
Surr L/R - Sunfire CRM-2BIP
Sub - Sunfire TS-EQ12

My issue with this system is my low-midrange is almost non-existent. I feel like I have nothing going on from 100 to ~300Hz. Im debating putting everything up for sale on here and Audiogon and just starting fresh.

If new everything is the route I don't know where to begin, obvioiusly my budget would depend greatly on the resale value of the Sunfire. I was married to the idea of ON WALL due to a door, but now Im of the mindset screw it and get more bang for your buck with floor standing.

That said, I guess my other option would be a better sub that can play something upto 200+ Hz (SVS?)

I would say the SUB is the strongest part of my system right now so maybe that answers my question, the tiny on-walls struggle with movies?

I'm not familiar with your current speakers but I can relate to this, a really good sub can and will make your H.T.

I was running Polk M70's, 40's, 30's and a CS2. I had an Onkyo sub (290 max watts) and I thought I had a good thing.

I added an Energy sub (200 max watts) and I thought I had a rocking H.T.

I found myself with your dilemma, all new speakers or a sub, hmmmmmm.

I ended up getting an EPIK Empire, holy smokes!!!!!! Suddenly I had a very nice H.T.

A really nice sub makes an incredible difference in your set up.

Your sub crossover should be below that. Your sub is fine. Replace the speakers.
