my current speakers are Microlab solo 6 and i made them passive

so my plan is to upgrade, will i get any improvement in sound or is it going to be the same?
I was also thinking to upgrade an amplifier in order to get more out of Microlab solo 6, then I would keep Solo 6.
any advise will be appreciated.
