Making Panasonic DMP-BDT220P region Free ?

Hi.. I just got a Panasonic DMP-BDT220P Blu-Ray player from Amazon.

Need to make it region free. I have a lot of Region B BluRay discs and its not playing .

I dont want to go through the firmware hacker website firmware info . They suck and very arrogant stubborn team. Idiots . I just spent one complete day in trying to register and every time I register, the account gets deleted without any notice. Im tired of this crap.

Is there any other way ?

Mods ask that all posts go in the official player thread.

Okay sorry, will check..

But that thread is too long, so its hard to find an answer.

That is the reason, I was looking for a quick link from some direct post link or solution.

Even though the mods seem to be absent the past few weeks, it's not the way this forum works. Post inside the thread. Using the search function will also yield an answer to your question as we have discussed this many times, including within the past few weeks.

I never had any success with firmware updating Region Codes. I purchase titles from Amazon.uk so I gave up with firmwareand purchased a Toshiba BDX1250 Region-Free player from 220 Electronics for $130.00 including shipping. Very easy to enter the menu to change the Code from A, B, or C. Nice player plays any Region DVD/Blu-ray, good up-converting DVD's, small, HDMI and composite outputs.
