Is this bass normal for this small subwoofer?

I got my self a jamo 8'' 250 subwoofer placed in the front left corner a few inches beside the left front speaker , and the room is about 4.3m x 4.6 m and wide opened from one side. I move the couch a very few inches forward so that im not touching exactly with the back wall.

Sub gain knob volume is set at 9 o'clock , and the bass is pretty smooth but not that much punchy and i normally never feel any objects moving with its bass.

Can this be because its a small subwoofer and the driver is only 8'' ?

Everything set to 80hz crossover , even for my front towers, with everything set to small.

Yes, an 8" driver is probably going to have issues pressurizing that large of a space - you say the room is wide open on one side. How large is the area it is open to? That area must be considered when calculating the cubic footage you need to pressurize.

Your seat is in a poor spot for starters. It's a pretty small sub and can get "lost" in a larger room, you say your room is open to a larger space?

Its a small narrow corridor. The sub is in the front corner. The bass is not bad for its size. Im sure i will get a much fuller bass with a sub like this?

My first concern would be where you have your couch. On the back wall it's a bad spot man. Getting more sub won't really help with bad placement.

I sit about 2.5 meters away from the sub near the back wall near the back corner , so im assuming im getting the most out of my sub thats why i placed it in a corner.

Corner placement of the sub will reinforce the output, but may or may not help smooth out your bass. Corners are not always the best place for a sub, it all depends on your room,

Sitting against a wall is not the best place for smooth, accurate bass. That's where standing waves can build up, causing the most ringing and "boomy-ness".

In this previous thread, the OP said that he had moved his couch forward from the back wall, and that he was getting bass that he was satisfied with:
