We have installed the Onkyo TX8050 in a clients house and we are experiencing some network lock up issue with the receiver. Basically the two problems we are having are when listening to Pandora thru the Onkyo and listing to an iPod via USB.
After a period of time we loose the stream on Pandora and when listing to an Ipod the music stops and the metadata freezes up.
We are controlling the Onkyo with an iPad using the O Remote app. Turning off the receiver or switching between inputs does not fix the problem. We have to disconnect the power from the Onkyo in order to get it to play again. Has anyone else experienced this or similar problems? If so what's been the fix? We have the router set up correctly with port forwarding and also set a static IP on the receiver.
