Eh...the first hour, 70 minutes, were a little too slow for my liking. Amazing Spiderman all over again, where they bored the hell out of you with a snail paced romance, while getting around to the interesting stuff just before the credits roll. The male half of the romance is an undead zombie unable to speak, other than a couple muttered words and grunts, adding to the boredom of the first 80% of the movie. Mixed in is some "interesting" flashbacks of one victim.
There's another villain here, but they take up 3-4 minutes screen time total, and seem like an afterthought cameo. This is basically a bizarre romance story with a very small zombie element wrapped around it.
If you're expecting a little more action...a little bit more zombies...this probably isnt for you
. But if you watched Amazing Spiderman, and you were still AWAKE after the first 90 minutes of boredom, you may like this
