I bought this set when I was in high school with some money I made over the summer. My parents inherited it when I went off to school and started living on my own. Now that it's about 6 years old, it's not really working properly. It doesn't turn on sometimes, and in order to turn it on you have to remove the plug from the wall and plug it back in. Bottom line, is that it's on life support and my parents are looking for a new tv to replace it. Only thing, is that they/I don't know what to do with this tv. We got it looked at to see if it would cost much to fix it, because when it turns on it looks beautiful just like the first day I got it. They didn't know what was wrong with it. I'm just wondering if there's any market for hdtvs like this and possibly being able to sell it for parts. Or maybe I can't do anything with it but just toss it to the curb. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
