I've been on the site for many years. My first screen was wilsonart laminate that I used for over a year, until I built a dedicated HT. I then made an AT seymour screen which turned out great. I moved and now renting a home in another state. I'm converting a bedroom to a HT/Workout room and have room for an led projector and screen.
I'm using an LG LED projector with 500 lumens.
Room is 90% light controlled so no issue there. Could be 100% if needed.
Screen size will be 90-110"
Screen needs to cover a window.
It does NOT need to be acoustically transparent.
Since it needs to cover a window, painting the wall wont work for me. I would prefer some sort of fabric that I can attach to a 1x4 frame and then hang it over the window. I plan on covering up the window prior to hanging the screen. I am also looking to spend as little as possible. Any suggestions for fabric? It's an upstairs room so the lighter the materials the better.
