I have done the crawl and were the hsu is is were it did not have the flattest response therefore that might explain why the hsu gain has to be higher than the more capable sub. I might move the kriesel to were the hsu is and see how it plays.

I finally got the Hsu and Kreisel to play nicely together. The subs are amazing. It is always worth a try even if the subs are mismatched. I get nice smooth and deep bass from them.

yup, got the DXD 12012 single, ken mentioned that it is awesome with the duo.... but one will suffice for the moment, perhaps add on another at a later stage when i have the budget.....

You have to listen to it to believe it, the speed is unbelievable, detailed,accurate and precise....... you will understand what you have been missing after listening to this sub..... Highly recommended sub......... No regrets getting this......

The dxd12012 was tested at the home theater shack using the bluray animated film 9 and results showed the lfe was 10hz on one scene. I don't think I have felt 10 hz before. I bought the film and hope I can hear it at my home once it arrives.

I finally watched the film 9. WOW the LFE is amazing with the Kreisel 12012. The walls where rattling even far away from the room and my room is 5400cf. This would be at 12 o;clock on the bass level. Using the reference level (green dot) was not giving me the punch I needed. At 12 o'clock with Audyssey setting to -3.5 did the trick.
