Home theater - ground up

We just purchased a home and will be turning the basement into a theater. The basement has two sections both 9 ft trey ceilings totaling about 2200 sf. The front part we plan on making into the theater and putting a pool table in the back near the bar. The area is about 20 by 25 and would need a motorized screen to drop down in front of a fireplace.

My initial thought was 400" screen with HH contrast and 3d capable projector somewhere about $3,500 for the projector and what ever screen I need to achieve 3d hd cinema quality.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

400" ? Is that a typo

What is HH Contrast, never heard of it.

More info please:

Is the room 100% light controllable, what will the distance be from the projector to the screen, very important, as not all projectors can throw images less than a certain distance.

GO to projector people, the have a projector calculator which can be used to narrow down the choices
