Please help me choose a media player

Please help me choose a media player - my needs are basic:

I want a player that will allow me to play music & video from a 2tb WD USB hard drive to be locally connected to the player via USB - I don't care about streaming.
I want to transfer audio & video files from a computer to the USB hard drive that is attached to the player - the player and computer will be networked via ethernet. I don't care about wireless.
I want to play blu-ray (1080p) & dvd rips from the USB connected hard drive - preferred format is MKV, but I am not opposed to standardizing on a different format.
A minimum of DTS & AC-3 for playing video - DTS-HD & Dolby True HD would be nice.
I want to play music stored as FLAC.
I would like all output to be via HDMI.
I want to control the player with my Harmony One remote.
And most of all, I would like it to do the above with stability.

Price is a consideration.

I currently have a WD Streaming Media Player and find it to be too frustrating. Every firmware release creates problems that didn't exist in the previous release. I don't know if I got a bad device, but it has been nothing but problems since day 1, so I want to replace it with something that will allow me to play back media without problems (hopefully such a device exists).

Any suggestions - and thanks for any help!

And Ph8te has ordered the players nicely from those with the greatest stability to the least. cool.gif
