I'm not sure if this should be a HTPC post or display post, but since this seems to be more of a display issue than PC issue I figured I would start here.
I have a Mitsu 65613 and I'm occasionally using a HTPC with it using PowerStrip and an ATI video card.
I have never been able to get 1920x1080i to work with the TV, the best resolution I can come up with that displays properly is 1080x480. However, everything I see on the various forums seems to indicate that 1920x1080i should work.
My question is if it's a connection issue/device issue. Currently I'm coming out RGB from the ATI video card to an RCA RGB to component video converter and then into the DTV connector. I'm wondering if the RCA converter is causing my issues.
Should I get an RGB to RGBHV cable and just feed the video direct into the DTV component input?
Thanks!
