Looking to get a 3D capable monitor for movie wathcing purpose.

I hope this is the correct forum to post this request, if its not.....

Just to get it out there, I don't play PC games, at all. My console gaming is also a very very rare thing.

I'm currently using a 27" Korean brand 2560x1440 IPS monitor for my primary, but I have space for a second monitor and I've been thinking about getting something watch 3D movies. From my research so far, there are no viable 3D IPS monitors available. Now before someone tells me to go out and buy a TV, know that I cannot do so.

I am looking for something in the 24" to 27" range and I am more leaning towards Passive (less headaches, figuratively and literally? ).

My budget is around $550. I need only one pair of viewing glasses (probably going to get the Oakley ones, I have some Amazon GC's).

I've been googling different sites and forums but I haven't been able to gather all pertinent info. I posted on Anandtech but I guess my question does not belong there.

Any help will be appreciated.

I read more then once about the shoddy build quality and rapid burnouts of the PSU. I use headphones for viewing anyway so no need of built in speakers. I'll see if it pops up again somewhere. I was not really looking for it when it did come on.

Did you perchance use it for 3D movies via computer? How is the quality of 3D? Any fuss getting it to work with a computer?

Anything?
