AV receiver: Yamaha RX-V473
5.1 speaker setup: SpeakerCraft AIM5 One + SpeakerCraft 8.2bas = all in-ceiling, with LCR pointed towards back wall
Is it possible when casually listening to stereo music for the AVR to play on all speakers except the center channel? (FL, FR, RL, RR, sub)
If so, is it usually possible for the AVR to switch so the two front speakers play either the left or right stereo channel, and the rears play the other? (the reason for this is because the HT living room is open on both sides for people to walk through)
Not sure if this type of thing is generally possible, or if people usually just play via DSP like Pro Logic IIx?
