I emailed Infinity/Harman about the replacement tweeters but I haven't heard from them and would not be surprised if those tweeters are no longer made.

Just in case I've been looking on line for replacement tweeters that may fit that space and that don't go over $20 each. My speakers are rated at 125w max, does that mean I need a replacement tweeter that handles the same max? Or does the interior crossover bring that down on most speakers?

Never heard from anyone in the AVS circles, but just in case it helps someone in the future: I called Harman (Infinity) and the tweeters for the Modulus MS-1 are still being sold so I was able to order three of them for $55 w/ shipping.

FYI; the tweeter itself is probably rated for no more than 20 watts.

Most of the power goes to the other drivers.

Glad you were able to get an exact replacement so inexpensively.

Not unusual. I've had to replace three different infinity (also Harman) drivers in recent years and the replacements were reasonably priced and delivered quickly. Ditto for Boston Acoustics.

Back in the day tweeters used to have far lower power ratings than woofers, but that has changed since the days of digital and it is not unlikely for the woofer and the tweeter to have the same power ratings. One thing that helps this is the fact that ferrofluid is a good voice coil cooler, but can't really be used with woofers.
