Hi All - I have just saved a couple of old Barcos from the scrap heap.
There is a Barco 801s Data suffering the red standby light but won't power on symptoms described in Curt Palme's troubleshooting guide. I have extracted the SMPS and tested the fuses all which check out ok. Tracks and solder joints appear fine also. This It leads me to believe there is a bigger problem beyond the scope of my repair skills.
Would anyone happen to have a r7621705 SMPS for sale? I have considered sending the old one away for repair but the costs of shipping to and from Australia are prohibitive.
Any assistance/advice appreciated.
