Help with sharpness levels on samsung e530

I've been reading people having sharpness at 0-10, now sharpness starts at 50 from the factory, which honestly seems most idea for most pictures 50-60, sometimes the 40s look ideal to me, when actually going to the 0-10 level, the picture mostly looks blurry and not in focus. Any suggestions? Or am I blind :x

Sharpness needs set with a test pattern

Any suggestions? The only thing I have with a set up is a Finding Nemo DVD with a THX setup, anything I could download higher quality and put it on my usb stick to use directly from the tv? Or use from my xbox/ps3 would be nice.

Thanks a bunch, I assume adjusting goes the same as the THX set up; adjust until they are defined, but not "edgy"?

Got it dialed in it seems, 17-30 seems ideal, 30 sharpening textures in games but producing edgy text
