For Sale:
Panasonic 65" CRT big screen

Will Ship To: Nowhere -- local only

My fully calibrated Panasonic needs a new, loving home. It is calibrator-owned and capable of doing both of the HD scanrates native, in separate geometry/convergence memories. Unlike all the others, where 720p - if it showed up on your set at all - would automatically be converted to 1080i, and not always purely or even very nicely. My set keeps it in native, pristine 720p, and 1080i stays native, pristine 1080i.

It is the cat's meow for gamers, as there is virtually no latency lag, like there is a lot of in the more modern fixed pixel devices, all of which are digital and as such suffer from digital delay.

And it is fully cleaned and calibrated - including overscan reduction and color decoding realignment (for fully lifelike color with no red push) - and ready for its next 10 years. You won't find cleaned and fully calibrated sets like this on Craig's List for peanuts, and the price I am asking is far below what just the calibration would have cost over the years, had the set been owned by a regular person. So the set itself is essentially going for free. Since it was owned by a calibrator (me) it has always been kept fully cleaned and calibrated, at all times. It has not been used as my primary display for around 5 years, so it's still incredibly young in CRT years.

A magnificent 65", in glossy gray marble finish. Possibly capable of 3D, has not been tested for it, but Curt Palme says 720p is capable of 3D. Since my set does 720p native, the possibilities are very fetching on that score alone...
