Lord of the Dance 3D

Just watched this last night and it is a very well done stage performance in 3D. The sound track was very accurate in 7.1 DTS MA. Lots of 3D camera angles. Each camera rig was of twin RED cams in beam splitter configuration and the depth was very clean with no ghosting throughout. Popout ( I know many of you measure the quality of 3D by how much of this is present) was present in the stage lighting and smoke effects plus some form of laser beam and flying stars, plus confetti over the audience that filled your viewing room but no performers were out of the screen that I recall.

If you get a chance this is a very entertaining program to watch in 3D.

Just got notice they received it back. There aren't many really good 7.1 and 3D disks out but this is one of them. The first chapter is a bit boring as Michael Flatley ( Lord of the Dance) discusses the history of the show and it is in Black & White but some shots are 3D. After that they jump into a 90 minute performance.
