Power Amp Buzz

I recently bought a plasma and thought it was buzzing. However, after some close listening and experimenting, I realize the buzz is coming from my Parasound HCA-1200ii amplifier. The strange thing is, it only happens when both the amp and the plasma are on at the same time. Listening to music with the plasma off it's silent; plasma on and amp off, no problem. I have everything plugged into an old Monster Power line conditioner.

Any ideas what is causing the problem and how to fix it? Thanks.

Seems like a EMI problem. Your first move would probably be to move the amp as far from the plasma as possible.

Call Parasound. They may have had other customers with the same problem.

This problem may be due to the fact that Parasound amps often lack a low pass filter in line with their speaker outputs that most amps have.

Well moving my amp isn't really an option. I contacted parasound. Tried unplugging the amp from the line conditioner and using a nearby outlet but that didn't help.
