My room is 22 x 17 x 7.5
I have the RF-7ii placed on the long wall (22') approx 11 feet apart slightly towed in but not directly aimed at the main listening position which is 10 feet away. I have them aimed slightly to each side of the main listening position that gives a wider overall sweet spot. The backs of RF-7ii are about 14 inches off the front wall and apprx 6 feet in from the corners of the room
They sound great but seem to lack some bass at lower volume levels and since they are 6 feet from the corners they are not corner loaded. I am wondering if I move them back and closer to the front wall if that will make a difference in bass output. I have them 14" away from the front wall due to the rear firing ports that I don't want to obstruct.
So if moving them back will increase bass output how close is too close to the wall due to the rear firing ports
I cannot place them in the corners because of a door on one side and closet on the other and 22 feet apart would seem to be too far apart anyway
Any suggestions that may help to increase bass oputput is appreciated
