Plasmas And Surround Sound Speaker Bars?

So I bought a Surround sound bar to go with my Plasma but now I am scared to use it lol.

Is it true that plasma's CANNOT be damaged by the magnetic field the speakers produce unlike the other types of T.V.'s?
I want to make SURE a year from now I don't have any damage due to something like this.

I was told it can take up to a year for the other T.V. types to show damage as it can do damage slowly over time.

I set my bar mount about 2.5 inches below the T.V. but have not placed it yet because I want to find out for CERTAIN whether the new speakers could damage the television.

Thanks everyone!

You can run that Plasma through an MRI machine without hurting it.

But - how can a sound bar be "surround sound"? Does it have wireless rear speakers or sumthin?

Na, Just 15 beam digital sound projector (sound bar) and a sub. Under the right room conditions they can and will give the surround effect.

These also came with a wireless subwoofer you can put anywhere. It is actually made by Samsung.
Got it at Best Buy.
