Your display would need to accept 1080p/60 3D, which current 1080p ones do not. The bandwidth for 1920x1080x120hz is nothing new. We've been able to do that on dual-link DVI for like a decade now, and on DisplayPort for the entirety of it's life.

In short, this changes nothing. No, you still cannot do 1080p/60 3D.

There's little video content at 1080p/60 3D, and games are not a driving force for format standards yet. Our best hope really is that 48fps film takes off, necessitating support for 1080p/48 3D in displays. 48fps is fast enough to get rid of 24/30fps judder issues, cheaper to render than 60fps, and we no longer have to worry about the CRT flicker that made 60hz the standard to begin with.

Even in that case, most likely a new video card, maybe new receiver, and certainly a new TV are all required. 720p/60 3D will be good enough for a while yet. Supersampled renders at 2560x1440 downsampled to 1280x720 can get you very close to the look of a native 1080p image.
