They offer price match (for prime members).. Im going to call and see what I can get them to do.( I think their page is wrong regarding stock FWIW)

I want the 65" pretty bad - but how can anyone justify that $900 price jump over the 60"? That's crazy.

I thought the same thing. Even if the retail stores reduce the prices it will still be a large margin above the 60" I was going to get the 65 too, no way now, I could buy a complete TV for another room for that price difference, I think the 65" base model isnt much more for the complete set.

Amazon tells me they should have stock of the other models in 2-3 weeks.

ABT now has the 55 in stock

Amazon won't price-match ABT, will they?
Won't hurt to ask. They wouldn't price match Paul's TV GT50 sale for me, but I know they did for others. You'd probably have better luck getting ABT to price match the Panasonic EPP discount, though.

Thanks.

Is ABT a pretty trusted retailer? You have any direct experience buying products from them before?

Just got off the phone with Jose from abt. He price matched $1247 shipped tax free for me on p55st60.

What price did you use to match with, the EPP (which is $1274 I believe)? Did you give him a link or just tell him it was through Club Panasonic?
Alright, nvm. I just ordered from ABT and got the 55" ST60 for the EPP of $1274.99. Actually, it was TOO easy lol. I probably could of haggled and got the price down a few more dollars, but all I really wanted was the EPP price with no tax and free shipping.

Best deal to be found on this TV right now, if you don't have to pay state tax.

Can't wait for the 55" over the 50"!

Ordered from abt the 55" one. At a lower price than EPP (i price matched with them when there was an extra 10% discount on panasonic shop and only today placed the order).

4-10 days delivery frown.gif

This is one of the biggest quandaries on this years pricing. The difference in pricing on the 60" to 65" VT60's AND ZT60's is a $500 jump. No idea why the $900 jump from 60" to 65" on the ST60.... I really want a 65" ST60, but won't buy it at this pricing. I'd rather jump up to the 65" VT60, as I've seen the "sale" pricing on those are at $2999. If the "sale" pricing on the 65" ST60 hits $2000, I'll be interested. Until then, I'm stuck.

Being local to ABT I can confirm they are a legit company. They have sold low and high end appliances and electronics for a few decades. I would definitely recommend them!

I have been buying from ABT for many years. How can Amazon jusify charging 2099 for the 60ST60 when ABT has it for less than 1500???

Once they have stock I am sure it will go down to competitive levels. Even Sears has it listed for 1499.

Sears price has gone up to 1699 again. Got my order in on the 6th delivery on the 22nd.

Just received this from ABT. They are apologizing for the "delay" but unless this thing ships in May, which their email doesn't indicate, it's shipping about the time I had expected.

This is what they all are saying. I got a notice a few weeks ago from Panasonic that it would be the 22nd before it shipped. I have since canceled that order.. I am in no hurry. ill just order from Sears or Amazon when they are in stock.

they are

50 977.49
55 1275
60 1445

which is 15% off of list.

At least that is what I get for our corporate EPP discount.

Any good deal for Canadian? Only amazon is taking pre-order for 60ST60 but it's at 1,999!

Sears is OOS now, ugh, and BB wants over 1700 for it. Had it in my cart last night, now can't complete order. Hope they get more soon, BB would not price match!

Yeah they had use the internal terminal to pull it up. Somebody posted the sku in the owners thread. I just realized bb is charging MORE than msrp on it like amazon. Maybe it will be go on sale like sears at some point!

First of all, I love this site! It's helped me in many purchase decisions over the years.

I just wanted to post that I was able to buy the P60ST60 at Best Buy yesterday evening at the Sears price. Like rvanderwerf stated, it was not on display, not online, and only in their internal system. They had 2 in stock, and were totally great about price matching Sears online. I had no issues whatsoever. I'm not even sure they checked the Sears stock notification -- I just showed them the price on my phone and they were totally cool about it, so I really think it depends on which Best Buy you go to. I'm in Washington State, by the way.

I can't wait to get this thing delivered tomorrow! biggrin.gif

lucky you! I was in the similar situation yesterday, and first I got squared up they would PM before I bothered proceeding, they pulled up the website, said no problem. They even drug the TV out on the floor on the dolly. Then the manager came by and told him to make sure they called sears to actually verify its stock, and blam, was OOS for delivery and nowhere in Texas. Said sorry no PM, so I said I'll just order the P65S60 and see how I like it, and likely return it if I sears got more stock so I could PM and get the 60ST60. So I have a P65S60 being delivered next week, and I'll give it a spin. It's a little crazy they'd rather me return a 65" TV and lose money on open box than just do the PM. I had brought the printout of when it was in stock that day, but it has to be in stock at that exact moment they tell me. They suggested I should have just bought it from sears when I had the chance at 1499. It's no wonder these guys aren't doing well financially right now!
