Internet radio streaming has become a daily ritual for some due to the increasing amount music added daily as well as the personal customization of playlists and artists. Everyone knows the big names like Pandora, Spotify, but what Slacker?

Slacker boasts about having 500,000 paid customers while the other larger names such as Spotify hold four million subscribers and Pandora about 80 million. That being said though, Slacker offers more music than Pandora and claims the shuffling service is superior rendering you less repeated songs.

Slash Gear has recently reported that Slacker has gone through a complete make-over to allow large icons, larger texts and a faster, more intuitive navigation that will hopefully help update the brand and gain some attraction.

The site’s overhaul is mostly cosmetic, though. The new look is presented in a blue and grey combo, and the site’s navigation is much quicker and easier this time around. Overall, everything’s larger: larger icons, larger text, and simple easy-to-find controls to fine-tune your music to the level that you desire.

The new interface is nice and more attractive, but do you think the make-over will make a difference?

Are you using Slacker? Which internet streaming service are you using?
