3.1 solution for Great Room

Room dimensions: 19x24'
Budget: $2500


Was considering a Bose 135. Don't hate me!!!

Want to know what the "experts" suggest.

Need a wireless sub, that's really only request.

I have a dedicated theater room. Looking for a good 2.1 or 3.1 set up for kids who will watch movies here.

Since this room is mainly for kids, or family viewing - do you prefer towers,
on-wall or bookshelf speakers? Where is the sub going to be placed, and
how much bass are you really looking for > is this for head-banging levels,
or for mainly entertainment?

Bookshelf type smaller speakers.

Sub hidden behind curtain or under couch, out of sight.

Mainly for entertaining, not head banging.

Denon receivers are good. I would go to a slightly lower model receiver than the Denon AVR2312CI and get the Outlaw LFM-1 EX with the kit instead if you can't afford to setup to the larger sub otherwise. You have a really big room to fill with bass. smile.gif
