Safe Haven

Has anyone seen this movie yet? I have an 11 year old daughter who's friends/classmates are going to see this today. My wife and I are the only parents saying no it's not appropriate of a group of 6 grade girls based on the reviews I've read. So we are the bad guys ruining it for everyone. Just looking for an opinion from some people that have seen it.

Haven't seen it. There is this site that reviews movies you might find helpful if you don't know it already. Most kids are pretty aware nowadays but it's your call on what's appropriate for your daughter.

Thanks, just solidifies what we were thinking.

Props to you as a parent. I strictly monitor what my girls watch (as well as how much), and don't get swayed by what other parents allow for their kids. They are used to it by now, and don't make a big deal out of the restrictions at all.

I'd say you made the right call.
