Window plug

Ok so this wall will be behind the screen wall. It will be clipped & channeled w/ DD + GG over the window but I want to plug it up with something.

I was looking at this:

Or should I just stuff some OC 703 panels in there?

How fancy/complicated should I make it?

Put something over the window that you don't mind seeing from the outside (landscape fabric, GOM, paint the glass black, whatever...), then stuff some pink fluffy in there and drywall over it.

Whatever you do, don't spend $32/ft on that foam! yikes!

one vote black fabric or linacoustic, black side out. I would be worried that paint would peel over time. Nothing wrong with fabric wrapped OC 703 if you have extra laying around.

This is linacoustic

If you have the depth I've put shades in the closed position, a layer of plywood, insulation then the drywall.

Yes I have about 3 in depth so I was going to put some curtains and then the insulation. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need something more elaborate
