Are These Components Compatible? Small Speaker System.

I'm new to these forums, please forgive me if I posted in the wrong place, I really need help though.

I want to possibly build a small 2-way stereo system for my room, these are the components I have settled on. I am still learning how to select components for speaker projects, I've only done one other project before. I'll probably be making a cabinet for the speakers, something small as size is a concern. I need to know if these are compatible components. If not, please explain why not and what I should switch out. I don't have a huge budget, so I'm trying to save anywhere I can. The purpose of this project is just for something that sounds pretty good (maybe in comparison to a Bose Soundock, not as good as it gets, but satisfactory), but doesn't break the bank.

You can't pick random drivers and crossover for a speaker. Measurements need to be done with calibrated gear and an understanding how this all works.

 

This kit is super cheap and all you need to complete this build is glue, binding posts, and paint or whatever finish you want.

also check out meniscus they have allot of kits even with crossover done if you want but you need to make the box
I just received the statements center kit I was happy with them and will buy my tower kit from them someday.

I say give it a shot. If you're a beginner it's a great starter project. You'll learn a lot. What's the down side? A little money spent.

That's a notion I've never found logical, telling a newbie to blindly forge ahead. There are better ways to learn a lot, like this:

With the availability of kits, with and without cabinetry, there's no need to find out the hard way that your driver choices were the wrong ones. Of course, if you want to offer him your money to experiment with, that's a different story.

A quick google search for "Aura NS6 designs" is a good way to start. No need to reinvent the wheel.
