There was a HX950 across the room from where the Ultra HD was hanging and it looked pretty dull in comparsion.
Even the "Sony expert" said he was a skeptical compaired to full array but he was convinced the edge lit / quantum dot tech is looking great.
Full-array offers deeper blacks, thus improving contrast.
The 4K Triluminous offered a legit improvement in color reproduction by using actual physics than any other gimmicks. (hardware base rather than software)
The quantum dot display allows the perfect light wavelengths that otherwise isn't available on the HX950.
Also it is literally 4x in resolution.
Now hopefully we see a continuation of the HX-9xx series and have BOTH the perks of full-array AND quantum dot technology.
