I don't get it....
How is it the French have managed to unlock the vault to Hollywood's Golden Era?
Last year we had the beautifully crafted The Artist sweeping the AA and almost everything else.
Now, we have another amazingly well done tribute to the early days of movies:
While watching The Fairy, I lost track of how many times I went into giggling fits and in the next moment picking my jaw up off the floor in amazement.
This is cinematic perfection, every element of this film is dead on the mark.
The sight gags and slapstick comedy, the love story, the writing, the direction, the acting, the camera work.....EVERYTHING is just right.
Movies don't get better that this.
