Keep in mind though, though that the VT is active-3D, not passive.

And doesn't the latest VT50 still buzz on white? And isn't it still prone to IR/BI? (Wow, this conversation never happened before! smile.gif)

VT50 does not have edge lit issues such as banding, flash lighting, and many other screen uniformity issues.

Sure, but the LM8600 won't leave you with a CNN logo permanently seared into the screen.... How's that for screen uniformity? :-P

went with the vt50.

55" is all I can fit without alot of rearranged of things. I tend to watch a variety of programing, so hopefully no burn in, even with gaming.

went with the vt50.

Prep it well, even if it means following the 90, 100, or even 200 hour directions.
