I wanted to share my experience with these great cables made by Paul Speltz.I like a lot of others never believed in cable having a certain sound...I thought it was all bull.About a year ago I purchased my first set of really good towers the definitive 8060-st's.I also purchased some 16 AWG monster wire for them.Upon hooking everything up the sound wasn't right and it seemed lacking. After a few days of messing I went to home depot and bought 14 AWG GE pro wire. This wire was great compared to my monster I was satisfied. Being the tweaker I am I still experimented with other wire.Next was 12 AWG mono price wire.Again I thought it was pretty good but was still lacking in some way I couldn't explain.Doing more research I decided to try solid core wire. The wire I tried was Cerro 14-3 solid core from home depot...has a black, white and ground in PVC.Like the other wire I tried I noticed a difference but still seemed lacking to my ears. Now comes more research and me finding the AniCables from Paul Speltz.Without going into crazy detail about them I have been using them over a week now and let me tell you these cables are fantastic. They don't add or subtract anything they just offer a super clean signal from amp to speakers.I hear so many micro details I've never noticed in both movies and music. There isn't any smear or distortion that was there before with all the other cables I've used...its very easy to tell this having A B the other wire.If anyone has used them share your thoughts...if not you really should try them in your system. They offer a 30 day trial so you don't lose anything.I really feel the emotion in music now where as before I would skip songs like crazy but really didn't know why I was...I do now...

Cheers,

Josh

...and you must try bi-wiring for an entirely new experience!

you're missing out on the heavy duty stuff:

Machina Dynamica's Quantum Temple Bell. Starting bid $69. The Quantum Temple Bell is a 5" brass bell of the type used in feng shui space clearing rituals that has been extensively modified to improve effectiveness for audio and video performance.

The Quantum Temple Bell is rung in strategic locations around the room, these locations are provided in the instructions. The bell ringing procedure takes about 5 minutes and can be repeated if desired once a month. Other rooms in the house should have the bell ringing performed as well.

An extensively modified brass bell improves sound if you ring it around the house. Why sounds that reach those locations from speakers, human activity, or the dog barking don't immediatly undo whatever effect they imagine occurs is left unexplained.

Doubtless there are folks who have heard a difference after ringing the bell . . .

Oh come now, you must have a link to these miraculous bells!! I do have some extra special cable lifts so that the speaker cables don't interact with all that floor energy.

It sounds to me Sir like you may be attempting to appropriate an idea from a well established, proven device that greatly enhances the sound of a stereo system. A mere $2,995.00 for the bowls and whistles.

Another excellent manufacturer of tweaks is Elemental Voice .

That's the type of wire they wind alternators with.

Do your research...this wire is of very high purity copper...its not plain magnet wire...its look similar but vastly different
How is this difference in purity between generic 4N and 5N or 6N wire actually audible? Anecdote doesn't count.

Its funny how I post about something regarding wire and all the children and screamers come out....anyway try them or don't...I'll leave that up to you...

In another forum you got your ass hand over to you and even your starting tread was closed ( it might happen the same here ) but you are really but really watching way too much porn . You don't have any proof of what you claim , only your personal experience and that it' might not be enough .

So do us all a favour and stop the name calling doesn't make you look good and it's very childish .

Yeah Chu,

The original anticables were made of ETP magnet winding wire. These are the new ones made of oxygen free magnet winding wire.

No my ass was not handed to me on the bluray forum...and my thread is now reopened because I made my case to the mods...so I'm not the one who needs to grow up bud...anyway let's keep this on topic...and the only way for you to know what the cables will do for your system is to try them...or don't...up to you.

Oh and where does porn fit in with a wire discussion?

Yes you had and your opinion it's just that , no real testing no real proof . The FAQ from there site it's even better , testimonials " Once you get about 100 hours on the Anti-Cable Speaker Wires, you can consider them quite broken-in. " This is the biggest BS that i even heard about cables .

It's solid core cable why do they need to break in .

Stop wit your bs about that change's the sound bla bla bla . If you say that you like them because they are well build and you don't mind paying the price ... kudos to you but changing sound .... no way . In a blind test for sure you would fail 100% .

They don't change the sound...let's get that clear...what they do is provide a very clean path...I get great seperation and a depth I've not heard in other cables I've tried...you have never used them so how do you know?...what speakers do you have BTW?

oddly enough I did not save the link but it was on audiogon. I wandered over there just now and found a link for another of their amazing products, the pretzel logic reef knot device. maybe it makes everything sound like Steely Dan.

Well yes it is sound...my point is the anti cables don't add or take away anything from the signal...the only way your going to know what they will do in your system is to try them...I bought a 10 foot stereo pair for my fronts and with shipping was 148.You can buy the wire in bulk from him and terminate yourself but I wanted everything complete. Its very easy to dismiss this based on what all the other cable sellers pitch.I wouldn't of made a topic about this if I didn't hear any difference.Like I keep saying try them yourself if your curious like I was.My experiment payed off for me and it might for you too.

It is clear you believe these cables improve your sound. It is also clear you believe the only way for others to learn if they will work as well for them is to buy the cables and try them out.

On the other side, it is equally clear that many here reject both of those beliefs. Do you have anything else to offer? Or, do you plan to just keep repeating those same two beliefs in answer to every post, as you have done at blu-ray.com?

Look the only way anyone will know if anything will be good is to try it...this goes with amps,CD players, speakers ect .If you think I'm repeating myself that's OK...everyone else is repeating themselves also...throwing science and double blind test remarks constantly.
