Sound issue with a Samsung LCD (Anyone ever experience this???)

Anyone ever experience a sound issue where the sound cuts outs, but only on certain channels? There are a certain number of channels that have sound when first brought up, but then a few seconds later the sound cuts out and deosn't come back. It is something to do with the sound feed as it happens with cabinet speakers and the surround sound setup.

Other channels work just fine. This is very odd to me....

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. OH, and yes, of course the warranty has expired.. :-(

Does sit happen with your blu ray player? Or game system? If not then it sounds like a problem with your signal rather than the tv.

It works fine with everything, but certain channels. Our feed works fine on other TVs...

Any other thoughts?

Crazy thought. Last summer I was watching a baseball game on an old analog TV and I could hear stadium noise, but no announcers. Checked another TV in the house and could hear announcers. Ultimately discovered I must have inadvertently pressed the "Lang" button on the Comcast digital-to-analog remote control which activates SAP, an alternative language sound track. But they must not have been broadcasting in the SAP track, so there were no announcers. When I pressed the Lang button again, I was able to hear the announcers. Hope this could be your problem.
