I recently bought the Pioneer VSX-1122-k receiver and connected all of my equipment (blue ray player, cable box, Apple TV), to it, per the owner manual instructions. When just watching the TV with cable box on, I am required to have the receiver on and "source' set to CABLE/SAT to get audio/video over the TV. Is this necessary? Thanks for any assistance you can give.
